The 2026-2027 Season will be the last season for FIRST LEGO League

An announcement was sent out today (3/19/26) by FIRST.

"LEGO Education has chosen not to renew our partnership agreement. The 2026-2027 season will be our final season, after which FIRST LEGO League will conclude. We will move forward with the 2026-2027 season as planned and remain dedicated to delivering a high-quality, engaging experience throughout.

At the same time, FIRST is actively developing our own next generation of K-8 program experiences."

We (FLL Team 71229) are still planning on putting a team together for this coming fall for the ultimate season of FLL.

FIRST Lego League Challenge Flyer

For the 2025 season, FLL Team 71229 met weekly at Baker Free Library in Bow on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3 pm. Depending on participant interest and availability, we may attempt a different schedule for the 2026 season, but likely at the same location.

Please use the email above to contact the coach. It will not be regularly monitored during the spring, so replies may take a couples weeks. Communication will be more immediate in the summer leading up to the next FLL season, and of course, during the season.
