The LEGO Challenge theme is BIOGLOW
Team 71229 will be competing in the "Founders' Edition," which is the same format as last year. The missions and innovation challenge details will be revealed August 4. That is also the date of our first team meeting!

The 2026-2027 Season will be the last season for FIRST LEGO League
An announcement was sent out March 19, 2026 by FIRST.
"LEGO Education has chosen not to renew our partnership agreement. The 2026-2027 season will be our final season, after which FIRST LEGO League will conclude. We will move forward with the 2026-2027 season as planned and remain dedicated to delivering a high-quality, engaging experience throughout.
At the same time, FIRST is actively developing our own next generation of K-8 program experiences."
We (FLL Team 71229) are still planning on putting a team together for this coming fall for the ultimate season of FLL.
